Book an Appointment
Welcome to Adapt From Within! You will find some information below to help guide you on the type of session to book.
New Physiotherapy Clients: Choose one of the options under “initial Physiotherapy Sessions”
New Hypnotherapy Clients: Choose the “Clinical Hypnotherapy Session” as your first session.
Returning Physiotherapy and Lymphatic Drainage Clients: Choose the session length that works best for you. If it becomes clear during the session that you require extra time there is the option to add extra time in 15 minute increments at a rate of $45.
Physiotherapy Clients Wanting to Incorporate Hypnotherapy: if the goal of the hypnotherapy session is within the physiotherapy scope of practice you can use your extended physiotherapy health benefits to cover the cost of the session. You MUST book a 90 minute session length or longer if you want to incorporate hypnotherapy into your physiotherapy session. You can choose the 90 Minute or 120 Minute Physiotherapy Session, or one of the Hypnotherapy Session options. I will make sure you receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy: I only incorporate internal pelvic floor assessments with female clients. If you are a male and are experiencing pelvic pain or other pelvic symptoms, I would suggest booking a complimentary consultation because there are many, many other pieces to pelvic pain and symptoms than the pelvic floor muscles and an internal assessment.
Looking forward to our time together! If you have any questions please contact me at kaitlin@adaptfromwithin.ca.
Welcome to my online booking site!
Virtual Complimentary Consultations
The Virtual Complimentary Consultation is an opportunity for us to connect. During this time, you can share a little bit about yourself, the pain and/or symptoms you are experiencing and/or the issue you are seeking help with. I will share a little bit about myself and my approach and will answer any questions you may have about physiotherapy, hypnotherapy, my approach, other services, where to start, etc.
Initial Physiotherapy Sessions
If you are looking for a different approach to addressing the pain and/or symptoms you are experiencing, you’ve come to the right place!
Your body is like a symphony. It’s a collection of instruments that must work in balance with one another to produce a beautiful harmony. If one instrument is off key or the conductor is inept, there is no harmony in the symphony.
In the body, the nervous system (brain, spinal cord, nerves) is the conductor, and the instruments are the different systems (e.g. nervous, digestive, lymphatic, etc.). The conductor and the systems need to be in balance for you to feel good. If there is an imbalance in the system, it can show up anywhere in the body. It may be expressed as low back pain, neck pain, headaches, brain fog, depression, anxiety, digestive issues, or any number of other symptoms.
To address your symptoms and/or pain, we need to take a whole-person approach and address the systems of the body. The systems I explore and either directly or indirectly treat as a physiotherapist are:
• The nervous system (including the subconscious brain)
• The lymphatic system
• The circulatory/blood system
• The digestive system
• The endocrine/hormonal system
• The organs
• The muscular system
• The fascia system
• The joints
This approach is different; however, I have been a practicing physiotherapist for over 10 years and this is by far the most effective approach I have found to help people manage and resolve both acute and chronic pain/symptoms. My goal is to help you understand the different pieces that are contributing to your pain/symptoms, provide you with simple and effective tools to shift and resolve the pain/symptoms, and empower you to take control over your health and wellbeing.
Albert Einstein said it best, “insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result”. It’s time to try something different!
* If you are a new client, please book either a Complimentary Consultation or an Initial Physiotherapy Assessment.
** If we have worked together at another location within the last year, please book one of the Subsequent session options. You do NOT need to book an initial assessment.
*** If we have worked together previously at another location but it's been more than a year please book an Initial Physiotherapy Assessment.
Physiotherapy Subsequent Sessions

**** The only difference between a pelvic health physiotherapy session and a physiotherapy session is that a pelvic health physiotherapy session may include internal vaginal and/or rectal assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles.

Hypnotherapy Sessions
Hypnotherapy is a powerful modality that involves guiding you into the hypnotic or trance state, which is a state of deep relaxation where the brain waves are slowed, the conscious mind is quieted, and the door to the subconscious mind is opened. In this state, you are still consciously aware of everything that is going on, but your conscious mind takes a back seat as you connect with the deeper subconscious mind where true change takes place.
Hypnotherapy can be a helpful modality for:
- Stress, Anxiety, Depression and/or Emotional Issues
- Fears and Worries
- Pain
- Mind/Body Symptoms
- Increasing Confidence
- Connecting with your Creativity
- Forgiveness of Yourself or Others
- Finding your Life Purpose
- Creating Habits
- Lack of Motivation, Procrastination and/or Difficulty Concentration
- Self-Esteem/Worth
- Sleep Issues
- Weight Loss
- And more!
We cannot change the past, but with the help of hypnotherapy you can change how you feel it, which changes its impact on your life in the present. The subconscious mind runs the patterns and programs of your life, thus if you want to make deep and profound changes to your life you must change your thoughts, beliefs and feelings at the subconscious level. Hypnotherapy opens the door to your subconscious mind, giving you access to make these changes.
****Please note that hypnotherapy session prices include HST.
*If you have never experienced hypnotherapy, I recommend starting with a Virtual Complimentary Hypnotherapy Consultation or an In-Person or Virtual Clinical Hypnotherapy Session.
**If you have previously experienced hypnotherapy, you can choose any session (i.e. Complimentary Hypnotherapy Consultation, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Womb Regression or Past Life Regression) that you are interested in, and think would be most beneficial for you.
***For hypnotherapy goals that are within the physiotherapy scope of practice, hypnotherapy may be incorporated into your treatment plan and qualify as part of your physiotherapy services for insurance coverage. We can discuss whether your goals for hypnotherapy are within the physiotherapy scope of practice.
Lymphatic Drainage Sessions
Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle manual technique that is used to stimulate and support the movement and elimination of waste, toxins, inflammatory by-products, and excess fluid from the body. Lymphatic drainage supports the body's own natural detoxification and healing abilities.
Lymphatic drainage promotes:
- drainage of excess fluid in the body
- improved circulation/blood flow and thus delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the cells
- relaxation and release of tension
- pain reduction by clearing waste and excess fluid out of the environment surrounding the cells, which promotes easier delivery of oxygen and nutrients. Supported cells are happy cells!
- improved detoxification
- the body’s natural ability to heal and repair itself
A lymphatic drainage session is a very gentle and relaxing session. It's a great way to support all the systems of you body!
Mentoring Sessions
This is your opportunity to support yourself and spend time learning in growing in the areas you are truly interested in! As a clinician, you are constantly supporting your clients and you deserve time to focus on yourself. Mentoring is an opportunity to:
- reflect on your current physiotherapy practice and how it serves you and your clients
- move beyond the mentality of the “fixer” to the guide, support, or coach with your clients.
- discuss challenging client cases
- learn new concepts
- learn new hands on techniques
- create a practice that supports you mentally, physically, emotionally and financially
- strengthen your problem solving and clinical reasoning skills
- strengthen and improve your communication skills
- grow both personally and professionally
- feel more confident in yourself
- bridge the gap between the concepts and skills you have learned in school/continuing education courses and their application in clinical practice
Mentoring sessions are truly your time to spend on whatever is important to you. Each mentoring session is unique and geared towards your hopes and goals both professionally and personally. If you are looking for a knowledgable, compassionate and experienced mentor, it's time to invest in yourself!
****Please note that mentoring session prices include HST.
